AIA Minnesota

Each year the RAVE Awards offers the public an in-depth look at how homeowners have collaborated with our talented local residential architects to design and build their homes. Nationally, AIA Minnesota has a very solid group of local architectural firms and 225 architects who are AIA Minnesota members and are licensed by the state to practice architecture. Typically 35-40 architects submit their work for the RAVE Awards, so by viewing the work of firm’s who have entered, you’ll get a sampling of what you can find. AIA Minnesota, the professional organization for architects, also publishes a Firm Directory annually in their May/June residential issue of Architecture Minnesota Magazine.

AIA Minnesota also publishes "Architecturally Designed Homes and You" to help homeowners who are considering work with an architect. It prompts series of questions to ask yourself to begin thinking about your project-whether a new residence, addition or remodel and questions to ask when interviewing a potential architect.
